Job Description: Silver Hill Hospital is seeking qualified Psychology Post-Doctorate Fellows who are interested in providing clinical services in our Admissions, Inpatient, Residential and Outpatient Services departments, while always supported by and educational focus and purpose. This position will interface with an inter-disciplinary team to ensure patient-centered, evidence-based, high-quality behavioral health services at Silver Hill Hospital.
Specific duties will vary based on the program but generally will include the following:
- Responsible for leading multiple group therapy sessions in a variety of formats including a daily process group
- Serves as the psychologist for multiple individual patients, providing multiple formats of evidenced based psychotherapy
- Provides psychological testing to patients as assigned
- Serves as a teacher to other clinical staff and trainees in the organization
- Participates in treatment planning processes in various clinical settings
- Participates in learning experiences including process group and didactics for trainees
Education and Experience: Completion of a PhD or PsyD in Psychology at an APA accredited institution; completion of a psychology internship; Eligible for psychology licensure with sufficient supervisions through this post-doctoral experience. Demonstrated experience working with patients with personality disorders, affective disorders, a history of trauma, and addictions. Has experience with multiple formats of psychotherapy both in an individual and group setting; Has experience with psychological assessment and testing; Has the flexibility to work with many different individuals in varied clinical settings.
