We are looking to add some friendly team members to our staff for the 2024 Season to help us maintain our facilities and create great guest experience for our campers!
Guest Services Representative
- Greetings and welcome guests. Handle questions, comments, suggestions, and complaints and relay information to the Campground Manager.
- Register guests into the campground by verifying information and taking payments.
- Educate guests and visitors on campground rules and policies.
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering the phone, copying, and filing.
- Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Keep the store stocked and tidy.
- Perform campground store sales by operating a cash register and processing cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain guest records, reports, and files.
- Help organize and facilitate children’s activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff
- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout campground and facilities.
- Clean and disinfect bathhouses.
- Cleans and disinfects registration, store, and kitchen areas.
- Vacuum and clean floors.
- Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily in common areas. Empty common area trash cans as needed.
- Load the washer and dryer and fold laundry as needed.
- Notify the supervisor if something is not working properly or broken.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Grounds & Maintenance Staff
- Work closely with management to maintain clean, safe, and appealing property.
- Clean camp sites by moving picnic tables, cleaning fire pits, and removing trash.
- Lawn care, including mowing, weed whipping, and watering grass.
- Other tasks as needed to help the park run smoothly and efficiently.
Night Security (MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER)
- Patrol the park (by foot & golf cart) and handle complaints of disturbance.
- Kindly inform and enforce the campground’s quiet hours and properly address noise complaints.
- Know, understand, and follow established park rules.
- Be friendly and helpful to all guests.
- Resolve conflicts among campers and immediately report escalated issues to Management.
- Monitor incoming traffic and direct campers to overflow parking after curfew hours.
- Check on campground facilities throughout shift to ensure they are safe, clean, and secure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 16 years or older to join Guest Services & Housekeeping Staff.
- Must be 16 years or older to join Grounds & Maintenance Staff.
- Must be 21 years or older to join Night Security Staff.
- Previous experience preferred but not required for any position.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during our peak camping season (May 24th-September 2nd).
