What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freshmen Outdoor Track Coach, Boys position at Silver Lake Regional High School?
Silver Lake Regional High School is in search of a coach to help with training and management of the high school outdoor track and field program.
Qualifications:
- Experience coaching track and field; experience working with students
- Previous interscholastic coaching experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Teach the skills and strategies of track and field to high school student-athletes.
- Be a role-model and teacher of track and field, including: practice, meet day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
- Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs. Communicate regularly with families as needed.
Salary is a stipend for the between $1,800 - $3,000 depending on experience as outlined in the SLEA contract.
