Silver Lake Regional Middle School is seeking an ELA teacher to serve as a long-term substitute teacher (grade 8), performing all of the duties associated with managing 5 classes, including: implementing standards-based lessons; collaborating with team and department colleagues; assessing students and maintaining classroom records; promoting productive student behavior. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring continuity of student learning and growth while the primary teacher is on leave. This position is anticipated to run from April 15-May 12, 2025.
