What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESY Site Coordinator position at Silver Lake Regional School District?
The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking multiple Site Coordinators to oversee the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify eligible students for programs
- Collect data regarding IEP services
- Recruit and select staff for ESY programs
- Confirm program needs (space, supplies, staffing, etc.)
- Meet with staff regarding responsibilities
- Monitor/collect payroll time-sheets throughout the program
- Meet regularly with the Director of Student Services regarding program planning and execution
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Note: Job share opportunities may be available and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
ESY Program Overview
- Students participate in the program from July 7, 2025 through August 7, 2025
- ESY programs serve students aged 3-22
- Days & times of services:

- Grades K-12 : Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
- PreK: Students will have a two-day schedule of either Monday/Tuesday Wednesday/Thursday from 8:30 - 12:00 p.m.
- In addition to dates and times outlined above, Coordinators will perform ESY planning tasks in April, May and June
Compensation for this assignment will be $46 per hour.
