The Halifax School Department is seeking a Principal to lead Halifax Elementary School.
Candidates should have demonstrated skill and competence as:

A successful individual will:
- continue to maintain an effective learning climate in the school.
- have knowledge and experience utilizing data driven decision making in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- assist in the preparation and implementation of the school budget.
- build strong relationships with staff, students, parents and the community.
- supervise and evaluate building-based employees.
- recruit, hire, train, and support all staff.
Candidates must have a Massachusetts license as a Principal (PreK-8), at least 3 years of successful teaching experience, and a Master’s degree.
Candidates with experience as an administrator are highly preferred.
