What are the responsibilities and job description for the Erosion and Sediment Control Crew Member (Boise Idaho Area) position at SILVER LEAF SWPPP?
Silver Leaf SWPPP is looking for a motivated and hard working crew member to join our team! We are a company that provides full SWPPP services, including the install and maintenance of the BMPs for construction sites in Idaho. No experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate, as long as you work hard, are willing to learn and show up.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to different job sites using company vehicles with other crew members across Idaho.
- Perform labor intensive work at different constructions sites.
- Must show up on time to scheduled shifts
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
Expectations:
- Need to be willing to work in all weather conditions, installing & maintaining BMPs.
- Willing to follow directions and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (sometimes more with help) and be in good physical condition
- Must be willing to work some longer days during the busy season
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Construction Site Safety
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret maps of different locations
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, & DOT Physical Required (if hired)
- We provide PPE including helmet, visibility vest and safety glasses.
- Employee provides a high ankle leather boot with puncture resistant sole and steel/composite toe.
Preferred:
- Light/Heavy-Duty Truck Operation
- Trailer Towing
- Skid Steer Operation
- Muck Boots with steel/composite toe.
