As a Charity Management Trainee on our team, you will take part in an immersive learning experience, gaining hands-on exposure to various aspects of our firm’s operations. Our goal is to prepare each Charity Management Trainee for a leadership role and provide them with an accelerated path into a management position.
Charity Management Trainee Responsibilities:
- Learn the basics of fundraising and generating revenue on behalf of our partners.
- Participate in comprehensive training sessions that cover fundraising strategies, donor engagement and knowledge of the non-profit sector.
- Support with the planning, execution, and monitoring of fundraising efforts for various clients or causes.
- Learn all event logistics, charity information and compliance standards.
- Develop your leadership, training and mentoring skills.
- Train with the executive manager on all business operations, including HR, payroll, scheduling and more.
- Assist with tracking donations and maintaining accurate records of donor contributions
- Learn how to manage multiple events at once; how to stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Learn how to track and report on the financial outcomes of campaigns or events, analyzing fundraising success in terms of ROI.
- Participate in the evaluation of fundraising campaigns and events to determine successes and areas for improvement.
Charity Management Trainee Preferred Skills & Experience:
- A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Any experience in nonprofits, event planning, or marketing is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles and the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and details at once.
- Being able to interact effectively with diverse groups of people, including donors, volunteers, clients, and other team members is essential.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine interest in nonprofit work and making a positive social impact.
- A strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to take on responsibility will be important as you move forward in our training program.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per week
