Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Silver Linings. This role is in a Home Plus setting. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and providing essential care to our residents such as cooking meals and assisting with ADLs. Your skills and experience will contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents.
Duties
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring correct dosages and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Keep precise records of medication distribution and residents' health conditions.
- Provide empathetic care to residents, offering support with daily tasks and activities.
- Observe residents for any changes in their health and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team.
- Help ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained environment for all residents.
Skills
- Skilled in administering medications and following safety protocols.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to residents.
- Solid grasp of human physiology as it pertains to patient care.
- Experienced in caring for individuals with dementia, acute conditions, and disabilities.
- Knowledgeable in medical documentation procedures and standards.
- Strong communication abilities for seamless collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
