Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is essential in supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The Human Resources Manager will act as a point of contact for employees and provide support in various HR functions including payroll, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process to attract top talent.
- Administer performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and manage leave requests effectively.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts.
- Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for accurate employee records and data management.
- Assist in budgeting for HR-related expenses to support organizational goals.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions including payroll, workers' compensation, interviewing, performance management, FMLA, budgeting, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar HR software systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills to assess HR metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- A degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) are a plus.
