Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Support clients with memory care needs by implementing strategies that enhance cognitive function.
- Offer hospice care support as needed, providing comfort and compassion during end-of-life transitions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of medication protocols.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements.
- Familiarity with home health practices and standards of care.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and recognize potential health concerns.
- Experience or training in memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $13.31 - $14.50 per hour
