We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a prep cook/dishwasher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly by assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing area.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the food preparation process in accordance with accepted standards of quality.
- Assist in plating for banquet functions and storing food.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by helping coworkers with tasks and being flexible to assist other departments as needed.
- Maintain the dish machine throughout the shift.
- Wash and store properly all dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
- Ensure that compartment sinks are filled with soapy water, empty and sanitized for rinsing, and filled with sanitize water.
- Maintain organization of all shelving for plates and equipment.
- Keep garbage and recycling bins organized and clean.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food preparation or dishwashing role preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
