What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate (Part-Time) position at Silver Parrot Albany?
Silver Parrot, Inc in Stuyvesant Plaza is looking to hire a year round, part time employee. A locally owned boutique, Silver Parrot specializes in selling clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Ability to work weekends and weeknights until 8:00 PM are a MUST. Three months or more of retail experience preferred, however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate in retail work. Start date is immediate, pending approval of applicant. Shifts are a typical total of 12-18 hours per week.
MUST live in Albany and available to work Summer of 2024, as well as Christmas Eve.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is REQUIRED.
Job details include:
Assisting customers while jewelry/clothing shopping.
Gift wrapping and cleaning jewelry.
Steaming and hanging new clothing.
Inventory upkeep and restocking.
Manage the register and transactions.
Creating new displays and clothing re-sets.
Helping customers match clothing and jewelry.
...as well as many other retail associated tasks.
