What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Operations Assistant position at Silver Reef Casino Resort?
Additional Duties
- Assist with prep work as needed or required to support menu preparation and presentation.
- Familiarize yourself with all cleaning equipment and techniques as directed by the Sous Chef/Room Chef to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices.
- Polish silver chafing dishes and coffee pots to maintain their appearance and extend their lifespan.
- Place washed glasses and plates into racks to prevent breakage and ensure they are readily available for use.
- Defrost and clean refrigerators and freezers on a scheduled basis to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Carry supplies from refrigerators and storerooms to all kitchen areas to support the efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Stock serving stations with dishes and stores to ensure they are fully stocked and ready for use.
- Responsible for knowing all events in the property to provide exceptional customer service.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times to protect sensitive information.
- Display respectful sensitivity to Native American Culture to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Operate within the parameters of the Silver Reef Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies, and all other applicable regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
