POSITION SUMMARY :
Supervises the function of providing observation and ensuring that the assets are protected. Also assists the Manager and Director of Surveillance in duties such as formulating and administrating schedules as well as other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of and experience in, casino systems, protecting monetary assets, as well as compliance with federal and state gaming regulations, and in addition to compact, internal control submissions and casino procedures.
Proficient written, oral and computer communications skills enough to prepare clear and precise reports to senior management, external departments, regulators, and courts.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Class III
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Ensures Surveillance Department's compliance with internal controls and departmental procedures.
Supervises and trains Surveillance staff in an ethical manner.
Writes comprehensive reports and logs including, but no limited to Daily Summary Reports.
Assists in the installation and maintenance of CCTV equipment, as required
Assists Director and Manager of Surveillance with departmental administrative duties as required.
Maintains an effective relationship with Tribal and State Gaming Agents.
Cooperates with other department managers on matters of mutual concern.
Cooperates with local law enforcement in the prevention and reporting of criminal activity within the gaming facility.
Performs job functions of Surveillance Observer.
Performs other duties as requested.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS : (
Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
Ability to sit / stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in confined and low-light environment effectively.
Vision sufficient to accurately view activities displayed on small video monitors.
Ability to life 24-50 lbs.
Manual dexterity sufficient to effectively operate all surveillance equipment.
Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
