Summary: Responsible for assisting the wait person(s) with table duties to maintain flow of business in a positive professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Class II gaming license; Safe Serve Certificate
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for clearing, cleaning and resetting tables, setting up and breaking down food service areas.
- Responsible for providing assistance to the guests throughout the meal.
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the proper location.
- Perform any scheduled, assigned or delegated duties in order to maintain restaurant cleanliness and flow of business.
- Perform all opening and closing side work.
- Restock china, silverware and glassware.
- Transport soiled china, silverware and glassware to the dish cleaning area.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Constantly standing, walking, hearing, seeing and talking.
- Frequently smelling, tasting, eye/hand coordination and handling.
- Occasionally balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, sitting, holding, wrist motion, reading and stooping, lifting and/or carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 55 lbs. alone.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
- Work in a moderate noise level environment.
