SUMMARY
Responsible for providing direct supervision, guidance and training to the casino Environmental Services (EVS) and Heavy-Duty/Floor Crew team members, ensuring approved Silver Reef Casino policies, procedures and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 21 years
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook.
- 5 years housekeeping supervisory experience preferred or previous experience of working within a hospitality or leisure background.
- Ability to read and write simple instructions, short email correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members of the organization and via email.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and team-orientated.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- Class II WA Gaming License
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensures complete guest satisfaction AND treats guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Ensures that Quality Standards and Service are maintained for Property, Product, and People.
- Supports established policies and procedures for SRC.
- Track labor, parts, and machine history in plant CMMS.
- Maintain a written log of any highlights occurring during shift coverage in conjunction with proper pass down entries.
- Maintain flexibility with regard to schedule due to changing business needs.
- Ensure all carpet, hard floor, restrooms, bars and kitchen are clean and maintained daily to SRCR standards.
- Makes recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, promote, reward, discipline, evaluate and discharge EVS and Heavy-Duty Floor Care team members on assigned shift – and review any Notice of Conducts with the manager prior to providing to the staff
- Monitor Inventory/Ordering on a weekly basis with your vendors
- Maintains strict adherence that all OSHA Safety rules and regulations are followed and keep updated SDS Sheets in the appropriate areas – providing an additional copy to Security
- Responsible for distributing keys and supplies to the EVS and Heavy-Duty/Floor Crew on assigned shift. Makes sure equipment is signed out/in properly at beginning and end of shift and always ensures the proper use of supplies and equipment
- Continuously monitors all EVS and Heavy-Duty/Floor Crew operations to ensure team members are in their assigned areas.
- Trains all team members in the proper techniques of using chemicals. Makes sure all bottles are labeled properly and ensures chemical bottles have proper chemical labels.
- Maintains all work areas and ensures housekeeping equipment is free of safety violations. Reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to manager

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works with or near moving mechanical parts.
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock.
- Works mostly indoor, occasionally works outdoor, must deal with cigarette smokes a lot.
- Works in a moderate noise level environment, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
