Qualifications:

- Maintain a responsible working relationship with Tribal Gaming
- Must be detail oriented and thorough.
License Requirements:
- Lummi Tribal Gaming License, Class II
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains extensive knowledge of SRCR and Lummi policies, procedures, applicable governing laws, and industry best practices pertaining to recruiting and retention.
- Interacts effectively & positively with the public and employees.
- Assists in all aspects of the onboarding process:
- Identifies and coordinates new platforms for candidate sourcing and position announcements. Assisted Director with job fairs.
- Processes personnel requisitions and posts open position announcements internally and externally.
- Processes candidates for screening, licensing, pre-employment drug testing and required background checks.
- Coordinate facility tour and introductions to leadership of new team members
- Issue applicable assets such as uniforms, lockers, etc.
- Provide various reports to different stakeholders such as payroll stubs, W-2s and other statistical reports from Kronos/UKG.
- May assist in interviewing applicants by phone and/or in-person to assess and determine suitability for employment.
- Provides advice, counsel, and feedback to hiring managers about candidates under consideration.
- Assists with coordinating interview schedules and travel arrangements, as necessary.
- Assists in preparing statistical reports on recruiting efforts and accomplishment as required.
- Partners with hiring managers to develop position requirements, interview questions, and job descriptions for each position.
- Partners with managers and HR Staff to maintain current and accurate job descriptions.
- Educates, trains, and assists hiring managers and Team Members on recruiting policies and procedures.
- Collects and sends mail, prepare invoices for authorization, and files HR documents in compliance with the department retention policy.
- Assists Training and Development manager with standard trainings such as new hire orientation, sexual harassment, workplace safety, etc.
- Assists with team member acknowledgement/recognition programs and events, such as Silver Star awards, Team member picnics, holiday parties and health fairs.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels while being sensitive to internal departmental needs, Team Member goodwill, all while maintaining a stellar SRCR public image.
- Must have a thorough understanding of property’s organizational structure.
- Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
