Job duties:
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Learn and adhere to proper sterilization and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Opening and/or closing the store
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Assist clients with jewelry changes
- Various cleaning and stocking duties
- Assist clients in filling out legal documents
- Pierce ears
Qualifications:
- Age 18
- Available for weekday and evening shifts (store hours Mo-Th 11-7, Fr & Sa 11-8, Su 11-6)
- Availability on weekends is a must
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to learn technical aspects of body piercing and jewelry materials
Please note that the position available is for a sales associate. A piercing apprenticeship can be discussed after mastery in all relevant areas has been achieved. No prior piercing experience is required. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and passionate about body piercing. Applicant must be available days, evenings and weekends.
