As a Houseman, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. With core skills in cleaning, maintenance, and hospitality, you will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality throughout our establishment. Your relevant skills in janitorial experience, industrial cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping will be essential in executing tasks efficiently and effectively.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Arrive at work area on time and in uniform
• Assists arriving and departing guests with luggage if requested
• Establish a beautiful, safe, and secure environment by ensuring that grounds are maintained and furniture is tended to
• Support room breakdown following guest departure as outlined in standard operating procedures
• Attend to room maintenance issues on a timely basis
• Complete various onsite tasks assigned by supervisor
• Manage daily task list and update various reports to correctly

Essential Functions

• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to effectively listen, communicate with customers and staff in all situations.
• Polished personal presentation: grooming meets Company standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions
• Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure while maintain professionalism at all times
• Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups backgrounds
• Attend all mandatory team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications
Cleaning experience
Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience
Janitorial or custodial background
Maintenance experience
Familiarity with housekeeping procedures
Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus.
