Our client, a prestigious wealth management firm based in New Jersey, is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer to join their team full-time. This role focuses on supporting the migration of on-premises Oracle databases to a cloud-native AWS infrastructure, modernizing data pipelines, and ensuring high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, experience with database migration, and the ability to design and implement efficient, cloud-based data architectures. Key Responsibilities Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle databases to AWS, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption. Leverage PL / SQL expertise for database programming and fine-tuning during the transition process. Implement and manage data solutions using AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Lambda, and Glue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions. Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance in the cloud. Required Skills and Experience Proficiency in AWS services, with hands-on experience in Redshift (preferred). Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, including PL / SQL programming and optimization. Experience with database migration from on-premises to cloud environments. Familiarity with financial services or wealth management data systems (preferred). Strong understanding of ETL tools, data modeling, and cloud data architecture. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment This is a full-time position based in New Jersey, requiring 3 days per week in-office .
