Silver Seas Yachts has an opening for a Mobile Service Technician to represent the Sausalito, Ca. area. We are primarily a NEW boat dealer so you can enjoy working on new, clean yachts! We also provide a company van for you. MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN OVERVIEW:

The Mobile Service Technician will be responsible for performing various mechanical repairs on yachts and equipment at offsite locations and marinas. This person must be a self-starter, able to work independently as well as on a team. The ideal Mobile Service Technician will be a proactive problem solver with strong customer service and communication skills.

Pay/Compensation is commensurate with experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform mechanical repairs on Yachts and equipment

· Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing

· Unload and check in new boats from the manufacturer.

· Prepare boats for stock and delivery to the customer.

· Assure that the boat is in safe working order.

· Install optional equipment as required

· Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of Silver Seas Yachts

· Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments

· Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits

· Other duties as assigned

Key Result Areas:

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Internal/External Customer Satisfaction

· Minimum number of comebacks

· Timely and accurate completion of work

· Effective communication between other Silver Seas Yachts departments

· Maintain consistent scheduled on time arrivals to job sites/locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Experience:

• Service technician: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
