What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet/Bellman position at Silver Slipper Casino Venture LLC?
Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor or Manager or Front Desk Supervisor the incumbent is responsible and accountable for parking and retrieving vehicles as requested by patrons and for greeting arriving and departing guests while assisting with transportation of baggage and personal belongings.
Essential Job Functions:
- Exhibit all conduct in accordance with Gaming Regulations and SSC policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations;
- Greet arriving and departing guests. Opens passenger door(s) and offers assistance, if appropriate, assist arriving and departing guests according to standards and procedures;
- Provide claim check and instructs guests on how to reclaim vehicle;
- Assist with transportation of baggage and personal belongings;
- Park guest vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner;
- Retrieve customer vehicles from specified areas in a safe and efficient manner;
- Provide travel directions and information on property events and promotions;
- Provide accurate and timely documentation and reports of departmental activities and status including claim checks, vehicle damage, statements, and conditions with require attention and or repair. Obey all traffic laws on and off property;
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees;
- Provide information about hotel and property amenities;
- Ensure procedures protect the integrity and security of the company, employees and guest;
- Perform assigned duties related to room comfort and hotel amenities;
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations;
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violation;
- Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic;
- Other duties assigned.
Education
