Summary
iCare Health Network is looking for an Assistant Administrator to help oversee and manage facility operations, business development, employee relations and financial duties. The Assistant Administrator works in conjunction with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to oversee nursing responsibilities, as well as the department managers and staff.
Our Assistant Administrator is responsible for collaborating with the Administrator on:
· Overseeing all levels of resident care, ancillary services, and ensures accountability to all standards of quality care, programs, and services.
· Ensuring that all facility programs are planned, developed, organized, implemented, evaluated, and directed in accordance to company guidelines and state regulations.
· Ensuring a well maintained, clean, and home like environment along with safety and security.
· Being available to respond to facility emergencies, regulatory agency visits, surveys, and issues outside of normal business hours, as needed.
· Collecting, analyzing, and monitoring facility department data/reports on a regular basis to ensure goals are being met and exceeded.
· Ensuring that legal and ethical standards are upheld through on-going review of Corporate Compliance plans.
· Striving for excellence by being visible on all shifts and communicating goals to staff.
· Driving the development of best practice and quality improvement.
· Ensuring admissions process runs smoothly and maintains 100% signed admission agreements.
· Overseeing of training of all facility to meet and exceed established state and federal regulations and surveys; as well as developing and implementing plans of correction.
Qualifications
· A current Nursing Home Administrator license in CT or currently enrolled in a Certificate in Longterm Care Administration program with a near completion date.
· A degree in Public Health, Business, Health Services or a health related degree, preferred.
· Experience in skilled nursing facility or healthcare field, preferred.
