Job Description:
Silver Star Communications is seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Installation Expert to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining outside plant (OSP) fiber optic cables and associated equipment.
You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all installations meet the required standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain fiber optic cables according to engineered work orders or service orders.
- Locate buried fiber optic facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on OSP facilities, buried cable, pedestals, hand holes, manholes, etc.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License.
- Class A CDL and Tower Climbing certification required.
