About the Job:
Silver Star Communications is seeking a highly skilled Outside Plant Cable Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining outside plant (OSP) telecommunications cable infrastructure.
You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all installations meet the required standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and install OSP cable infrastructure according to engineered work orders or service orders.
- L ocate buried copper and fiber optic facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on OSP facilities, buried cable, pedestals, hand holes, manholes, etc.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License.
- Class A CDL and Tower Climbing certification required.
