About the Role:
Silver Star Communications is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables and associated equipment.
You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that all installations meet the required standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain OSP facilities according to engineered work orders or service orders.
- Locate buried copper and fiber optic facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on OSP facilities, buried cable, pedestals, hand holes, manholes, etc.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License.
- Class A CDL and Tower Climbing certification required.
