Job Description:
">As a Utility Locator at Silver Star Communications, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of our underground facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and mark existing outside plant (OSP) underground utilities according to Wyoming and Idaho damage prevention statues.
Key Responsibilities:

- Locate and mark buried utilities using advanced equipment and techniques. ">
- Work closely with OSP Engineers and Mapping coordinators to plan and maintain cable infrastructure. ">
- Ensure compliance with state underground facilities damage prevention laws and regulations. ">
- Install and maintain bonding and grounding wires. ">
- Record and provide GPS data for locations of telephone/broadband facilities. ">
- Document cut cables for billing repairs and prepare damage reports. ">
- Participate in team environment fostering innovation and creativity. ">
Requirements:

- High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred. ">
- Valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License required. ">
- Obtain Locating Utility Certification. ">
