Land Survey Instrument Laborer
220 Industrial Blvd. Moore, OK 73160 USA - *Full Time $17.20 -$18.30
Accurate Points Surveying, a subsidiary of Silver Star Construction, is seeking a land survey instrument laborer to help survey land in the field, run tools, hammer stakes, collect data, etc.
This position will be on a field crew assisting a Party Chief with conventional, GPS, and Aerial LiDAR survey equipment to accurately and efficiently measure topographic features and boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and follow directions assigned by the Party Chief
- Assist with total stations, GPS units, and levels to complete any given task
- Maintain vehicle and field equipment
- Install grade hubs and stakes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2 years of industry and survey experience, preferred
- Competent operating total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors
- Good math skills as to mark grade stakes
- Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal) and attention to detail
- Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
- Ability to work in all-weather climates
- Ability to walk long distances through a variety of terrains and carry up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license, clean background check and drug screening
