Job Summary
- Invoicing Specialist for a local manufacturing/distribution company is expected to work partially independently M-F starting at 5 AM entering details of orders for daily shipments. AP clerk and other office functions under general supervision. This is an ONSITE position.
Primary Functions:
- Open office at 5 AM and organize the paperwork from the warehouse for orders pulled to be delivered that day. Invoices need to be created for the drivers to start their routes on time.
- Be observant to any discrepancies or issues and communicate with the warehouse before drivers leave.
- Be aware of any special handling of certain customers.
· Proficient in data entry using number key pad.
- Organize the paperwork from prior day deliveries. Look for any issues and handle accordingly.
- Issue and document credits.
- Discuss and solve issues with supervisor, warehouse manager or sales person when needed.
- Sort and file paperwork daily.
- Experience in AP 3 way matching and entry.
- Cut checks approved for payment and matching vouchers with check for signature.
- Performs related responsibilities as required, such as general office duties like operating office machines, opening mail, do banking and Post Office.
- Handle calls from Customers and Vendors when needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education and Years of Experience:
Basic accounting, A/R, A/P required. Professional schooling preferred.
At least 1 year of like business experience required.
Must be efficient on a number keypad
Basic Excel knowledge required
5 AM start time is critical, need reliable person. Please don’t apply if 5 AM doesn’t work M-F.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
