Job Duties :
- Installing, servicing, low-voltage wiring, termination, and repair of security cameras, motion detectors, glass breaks, panic buttons, card readers, mag locks, and E-strikes
- Designing overlays, interpreting blueprints, designs, drawings, manuals, and project plans
- Wiring and installation of XR550 panels
- Installation and programming of NVR’s, surge protectors, POE switches, and UPS
- Utilize remote monitoring and access controls
- Utilize NVRs, surge protectors, and POE switches
- Work with networks devices such as routers, modems, switches, and hubs
- Installation of IP cameras
- Run and terminate network cable
- Work with Team Lead to wire all devices to correct locations
- Communicates with project manager, team lead and peers to resolve issues, concerns, and answer questions related to the job as required
- Clearly communicates with project manager and team lead any variation from scope of work and / or assignment
- Troubleshoot service issues while problem solving collaboratively
- Other duties as assigned by management staff
