Job Responsibilities
• Perform security patrols of external and internal areas of locations to ensure a safe and secure environment
• Monitor surveillance and security alarm systems to promptly respond to potential threats
• Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations with professionalism and discretion
• Maintain detailed logs and records of incidents at assigned locations to ensure compliance and accountability
• Other duties assigned by Silver Star Protection Management
Requirements
• Military or law enforcement background preferred for relevant experience and skills
• Must have a valid PERC card and FOID Card to comply with state regulations
• Completion of 20-hour unarmed and 20 hour armed security training for certification
• Original Firearm Training Certificate issued by IDFPR and re-qualification within the past 12 months
• High school diploma or equivalent for basic education requirements
• Current driver's license and dependable transportation for on-site responsibilities
• Ability to obtain a Cultivation/Dispensary Identification Card for industry compliance
• Passing a comprehensive background check for trustworthiness
• Professional appearance and demeanor for client interactions
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time for job demands
