Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff members, as well as protecting the property and assets of the establishment. Bar security maintains order and enforces rules and regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The Office 842, LLC, create an exceptional guest experience
- Monitor entry and exit points of the nightclub and ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed inside
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the bar to prevent and address any safety or security issues
- Check identification of patrons to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirement for entry
- Enforce dress code policies and prohibit any prohibited items or behavior in the bar
- Respond to any disturbances, fights or emergencies and maintain order
- Escort unruly or intoxicated patrons off the premises
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Complete incident reports and document any security-related incidents
- Communicate with servers and bartenders guests showing signs of intoxication
- Ensure that all security equipment is maintained in good condition
- Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on security procedures and protocols
Supplemental
- Clear tables of empty glassware
- Identify and mop spills on floor
- Assist servers, bartenders with cleanliness of the bar during late night service hours
- Assist with closing duties as needed, such as setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, sweeping
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
