Assist in planning and organizing daily activities, social events, games, arts and crafts, outings, and holiday celebrations.
Encourage resident participation and provide companionship and support during activities.
Tailor activities to residents’ interests, preferences, and abilities, creating a joyful and engaging environment.
Work collaboratively with nursing and caregiving staff to meet residents' needs and preferences.
Help set up, clean, and organize activity areas and materials.
Maintain records of resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
Genuine interest in working with elderly residents and improving their quality of life.
Ability to work with a team and independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a caring demeanor.
