Responsibilities of a Dietary Aide:
- Assist in meal preparation, tray assembly, and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness in food service areas and follow infection control policies.
- Handle, store, and dispose of food per regulations.
- Use equipment safely and follow maintenance schedules.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Communicate with the Food Service Director to meet residents’ needs.
- Assist with state inspections and attend in-service training.
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
- Must follow CMS vaccination guidelines.
- Flexible and able to work every other weekend.
- Strong social and teamwork skills.
