The Slot Floorperson / Attendant encourages new guest enrollments into the players club while acknowledging and maintaining all aspects of slot related duties, such as identifying jackpots, generating documents through the online system, and answering all guest questions.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work demands
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Must be detail oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in a slot attendant or casino-based position preferred
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Some computer skills, experience in Excel is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Safeguards assets of the company
2. Assists Slot Shift Supervisor or MOD with designated duties
3. Observes slot machine play
4. Verifies and / or pays customers for jackpots and signs required forms
5. Services machines when minor malfunctions occur
6. Verifies jackpots within certain level and signs required forms
7. Monitors assigned slot area for situations requiring attention or action
8. Ensures compliance with Federal currency reporting regulations
Work Environment and ADA Requirements :
Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to work in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist, crouch, squat, lift. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to operate within confined spaces and perform acts of repetitive motion.
