Duties
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and blueprints.
- Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit around windows, doors, and electrical outlets.
- Secure drywall panels using screws or nails, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Perform taping and finishing work to prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct repairs on existing drywall installations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in drywall installation techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of mold remediation practices is a plus.
- Experience in building structures and remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying methods for finishing work.
- General maintenance person skills with experience in masonry and carpentry tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately to follow project specifications.
- Competence in flooring installation techniques is advantageous.
