Qualifications : A registered nurse with four years experience within the last five years in HospiceEMR experience highly desirable, Wellsky preferredThis role requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulationsAssociates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver's license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOne year of experience supervising others to include : setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.Ability to conduct bereavement support groups Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and make effective decisionsYou may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needsWhat you'll be doing : Serve as a role model and set an example for nursing staff and other members of the health care TeamServe as a resource and support system to staff in problem solving and determine appropriate interventionsIn collaboration with the Administrator, determine the hiring, orientations, retention, evaluations, discipline, counseling or termination of the hospice's team associates Adhere to budget requirements regarding labor, pharmacy, DME, and medical supply costs.
