Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of responding to incidents, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing security protocols effectively.
Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance equipment to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations to maintain peace and order.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting or investigations.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Certified in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in security, law enforcement or Corrections are preferred.
