Location: Onsite in Cypress, TX (Grand Parkway 99 and Telge Rd)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40 per hour
Job Description:
Graz Sinda Productions, a subsidiary company of Silverback Distribution, is seeking a highly experienced Video Editor to join our team. This onsite role involves collaborating closely with the director to edit and compile the final cuts of several short films and a feature film. The ideal candidate will have exceptional editing skills and experience working with professional-grade footage in diverse formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to edit video and audio footage into polished scenes.
- Collaborative Editing: Work closely with the director to ensure creative vision and storytelling goals are achieved.
- Footage Management: Review raw footage from Red and Blackmagic cameras, organize files, and manage project workflows.
- Final Assembly: Compile the final cut for short films and a feature film, ensuring professional standards in pacing, continuity, and overall aesthetic.
- Audio Integration: Sync audio with video and edit soundtracks to enhance the cinematic experience.
- File Format Adaptation: Work with footage in various formats, ensuring seamless integration into projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on short films, feature films, or similar projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with footage from Red and Blackmagic cameras is highly preferred.
- Exceptional understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and adapt to feedback.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of color grading and visual effects.
- Experience working in a production company environment.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools and techniques.
