What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Kennel Technician position at Silverbrook Kennels Inc?
Silverbrook Kennels located on over 10 park-like acres in the Fredericksburg/Stafford area is in search of candidates to fill part-time entry level kennel positions.
Shifts are typically 3PM to 10PM and may vary.
Silverbrook Kennels is a top-quality dog boarding and training facility. We encourage a team approach to work. Dog lovers will enjoy working together to make the environment positive for co-workers and dogs. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and well organized. Candidate will make the safety and comfort of dogs and staff a priority.
Must be at least 18 years old. Weekends and holidays are required.
Additional duties include:
· Ensure that dogs are fed, watered and aired according to schedules and feeding instructions.
· Exercise animals to maintain their physical and mental health.
· Clean kennel and perform general facility and ground maintenance
· Provide outstanding customer service and help build a positive team atmosphere
Starting pay is $12.41 per hour.
