Job Objective:

The Client Associate will join Silvercrest’s asset management team to provide essential support in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role is integral to delivering exceptional client experiences through precise execution of operational tasks, accurate maintenance of client information, and proactive assistance to portfolio managers. The Client Associate will contribute to Silvercrest’s client-centric mission, helping to implement bespoke wealth management strategies and family office solutions that meet the unique needs of our distinguished clientele.


Responsibilities include:


Assist portfolio manager with client support – cash and securities transfers, account information, website access, etc.

Communicate with the team and, as necessary, others in the firm on an ongoing basis regarding all client-related matters.

Interface with client custodians, accountants, and attorneys.

Maintain client information on internal systems – APX, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Work closely with custodians and internal operations to ensure the accuracy of security set-up, cost basis, holdings, and other account information.

Review accounts monthly or quarterly, as needed, for adequate cash balances to cover fees, tax payments, and income distributions, including Capital Calls and Private Equity distributions.

Organize new account paperwork, advisory, and custodial for client signature.

Maintain and review fund activity, including investor and underlying manager activity, transfers, redemptions, and subscriptions.

Work closely with fund administrator; maintain accurate performance, NAV, and other reporting.

Assist with routine compliance filings and audits for funds.

Assist in the preparation of client meeting material.

Meet and greet visiting clients, providing refreshments as needed.

Provide administrative support to the portfolio management team, including telephone support, filing, client correspondence, and mail delivery.

Act as liaison to family offices, assisting in bill payment, payroll, tax payment, cash balance monitoring, and other miscellaneous needs as they arise.

Possible client trading activity, utilizing MOXY (the internal trading software) and custodial trading platforms.



The candidate should be highly organized and have good follow-up and communication skills. They should also be able to multitask effectively, be eager to learn, have a good work ethic, and be professional and personable when relating to clients and co-workers.


We anticipate the base salary range for this position at Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC to be approximately $70,000 USD. The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role-specific skills. Base salary represents one element of Silvercrest Asset Management’s comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive-based compensation.
