- Possesses outstanding interpersonal, oral, writing, and technology skills.
- Able to collaborate with teachers and parents as partners.
- Able to disciple and mentor middle school students.
- Able to integrate biblical truths and a biblical worldview in teaching.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching the subject matter including grading and recording assessments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge in the area of middle school coursework and the ability to explain Science concepts. Conduct STEAM activities, and project-based learning opportunities.
- Demonstrate sound classroom management skills and cultivate a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the developmental age of a middle school student.
- Tutor students in the subject matter taught.
- Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of the student’s progress.
- Integrate appropriate technology, use of smartboard, and iPad apps in all instructional strategies, to make student learning collaborative and interactive.
- Support ideas and policies of the administration.
- Prompt and continuous attendance on campus

- Prompt and continuous attendance on campus
- Willingness to sponsor extra-curricular activities/clubs or be able to coach an athletic team.
- Willingness to obtain an ACSI certification.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree. Prefer STEAM certification
