Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate teaching excellence in the subject matter and a Biblical Worldview
• Demonstrate sound classroom management skills
• Cultivate a positive learning environment
• Support ideas and policies of the administration
• Demonstrate content knowledge in subjects taught
• Utilize Canvas LMS to build course content and facilitate instruction 
• Sponsor and organize a J-term course focusing on experiential learning 
• Integrate STEAM, PBL, and Outdoor Education to make learning experiential, collaborative, and interactive 
• Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of the student’s progress
• Willing to tutor and help students outside of the classroom 
• Able to integrate biblical truths and cultivate a Biblical Worldview
• Able to collaborate with teachers and partner with parents
• Able to disciple and mentor Middle and high school students
• Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality
• Prompt and continuous attendance on campus

Additional Job Information:

• Willingness to sponsor extra-curricular activities/clubs or be able to coach an athletic team.
• Willingness to obtain an ACSI certification.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a Latin Concentration
• All prospective employees must be able to clear a background check and fingerprinting
• Possesses outstanding interpersonal, oral, writing, and technology skills, as well as mastery of the subject matter
