Leasing Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing properties that meet their needs. Your exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of property leasing will contribute to the success of our leasing efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with prospective tenants, providing them with information about available properties
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and amenities of each unit
- Assist prospective tenants with completing rental applications and necessary paperwork
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, follow up with inquiries, and maintain accurate records
- Conduct background checks and verify rental references of potential tenants
- Adhere to Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants
- Coordinate move-in logistics, including lease signing, key handover, and orientation to the property
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process, addressing any concerns or issues raised by tenants

Requirements:
- Previous experience in property leasing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency in using leasing software such as OneSite
- Familiarity with facilities management principles
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with prospective tenants and provide exceptional customer service
- Understanding of fair housing laws and regulations
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or amenities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
