Job Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an intelligent, self-starting, conscientious, hands-on and driven individual with a strong mechanical aptitude who is passionate about manufacturing automation and who can execute mission-critical responsibilities assigned to them flawlessly.
- Your responsibilities will be to oversee a major portion of Silvermine’s production process, much of which has been automated. You will be responsible for operating, improving and optimizing the automation, overseeing the crew that supplements the automation, dealing with production issues and working on innovative new ideas.
- The process you will oversee is currently the bottleneck of the entire plant despite the automation. Our objective is to increase output from this portion of the line by 25% and you will play a key role in this effort.
- We will also be looking for you to work with the other line supervisors (paint which is 100% manual and concrete mixing and molding), maintenance, quality control & management to hit overall productivity, quality, scrap, output, safety and morale targets.
- You will be the senior individual in your portion of the facility and the crew will look to you for leadership, problem solving & direction.
- You will be part of the leadership in charge of maintaining & improving plant safety by (1) enforcing regulations, (2) making overall improvement recommendations, and (3) ensuring employees are safety-conscious in your areas as well as across the facility (see something, say something approach).

REQUIRED experience/capabilities:
- 1-2 years of full-time work experience
- Mechanical Technician experience/training
- Hands on approach to ensure (1) the basics are executed day-in and day-out, (2) production issues are resolved real-time and output impacts are minimized, and (3) the operation is improving continuously
- Quick study, mechanical aptitude (deal with maintenance issues) & problem-solving skills
- Independent & self-directed leader - you will be the senior person in the plant during your shift
- Motivating- help team hit bonus levels to increase pay
- Collaboration skills - work with other shift leads, senior management & ownership to meet short and long term objectives
- Passionate about automation – implementing new & optimizing existing automation
- Mastery of Spanish (spoken) is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
