Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily front desk operations, ensuring high standards of guest service.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to enhance performance and service quality.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
- Oversee phone systems to ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained by all staff.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent phone etiquette with proficiency in handling phone systems.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus but not required.
