We are seeking an EDI Specialist to join our client on a Contract-to-PERM Hire Engagement. This position does require some hybrid onsite in the Morris County, NJ area (roughly 3 days a week). Must be local to the area and we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time. W2 only during the contract before it becomes a perm position.
Overview
The EDI Systems Coordinator manages electronic data workflows, troubleshoots errors, optimizes system performance, and collaborates with various departments to enhance efficiency. This position also plays a key role in implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with data exchange standards.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management: Supervise daily EDI operations, ensuring transactions process correctly.
- Technical Support & Maintenance: Keep data mappings, translations, and system interfaces up to date.
- Error Resolution: Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies, connectivity issues, and mapping errors.
- Compliance & Data Validation: Monitor and verify data accuracy to align with internal policies and external regulations.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as a bridge between IT, finance, logistics, and external partners.
- Process Optimization: Continuously seek improvements to enhance the efficiency of EDI workflows.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with EDI software
- Proficiency in troubleshooting data transmissions and mapping issues.
- Familiarity with data formats
- Understanding of how EDI systems integrate with enterprise software (ERP/accounting platforms).
- Detail-oriented approach to data validation and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience in EDI system management, support, or administration.
