About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in designing, maintaining, and enhancing network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and system issues across all layers of the network topology.
- Troubleshoot network-related performance and connectivity issues for end-users.
- Lead and execute network projects, including upgrades, replacements, and enhancements of network infrastructure.
- Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure connectivity across corporate, regional offices, and remote locations.
- Manage and optimize AWS Cloud Networking using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Automate network tasks and processes using Ansible for deployment and configuration management.
- Develop Python scripts and integrate with ServiceNow to automate workflows for network monitoring, incident management, and reporting.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for in-house network technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technology Operations, Server Group, Desktop Support, Information Security, and Audit.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation based on monitoring data, experience, and hardware expertise.
- Travel to corporate offices, regional sites, and data centers as needed.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical network incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in an IT-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Advanced networking certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP packet analysis using tools like Wireshark.
- Expertise with Next Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall).
- In-depth experience with routers and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies for performance and security enhancement.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco, Arista).
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud Networking with Terraform for IaC and Bitbucket for code management.
- Experience with Enterprise Network Management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Ansible).
- Automation skills in configuring and managing networks using Ansible and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management, performance monitoring, and workflow automation.
