Job Opportunity : Splunk Platform Engineer - W2 only
Open to remote - prefer 1 day onsite near Harrison, NJ.
We are seeking a skilled Splunk Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance our Splunk platform, focusing on infrastructure and configuration improvements.
Key responsibilities include :
- Providing daily operational support and guidance on system administration and data management.
- Documenting best practices and SOPs.
- Leading new projects and proof-of-concepts (POCs) such as Enterprise Security Searchhead clustering, implementing Splunk Smartstore, migrating to Splunk Cloud, enhancing ITSI Service Monitoring, and refreshing hardware.
- Implementing recommendations from Splunk Health Assessments and developing automation use cases.
- Performing upgrades for Splunk Enterprise, Splunk ES, and ITSI, as well as various apps and technology add-ons.
- Collaborating with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth maintenance and upgrades.
